Day 11 and 12 continue installation......

Today we ran into a problem. I do not like the corner cabinet that is suppose to go above the stove and support the microwave. This throws it all off ! We need to reorder and redo that entire wall. Different configuration. Yep they say something always happens when doing a kitchen, this is ours. I have to go with my gutt. I can't live with this cabinet sticking out over part of the window. Spoke with Jim out installer and he agreed and put a call into the Sales rep and foreman to see what they can do. See you tomorrow ! :)

Sorry I haven't updated everyone in awhile !! Here goes. 4 cabinets changed out to fix the corner problem. Looks much better !! Here are the new photos Still have some finishes that they need to do. Some pieces missing on order, missing glass and handles......

IT IS DONE!!! JUST IN TIME FOR THANKSGIVING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Wow, it looks kinda freaky empty like that. John must love how "uncluttered" it is. ;)

  2. WOW - a blank slate! Show us the floor plan! Tell about the kind of cabinets...etc... Very Exciting. We did it a year ago. When it's all done you tend to forget the glory days of living with no sink!

  7. We'll with the issue today it may be some time before we are playing poker. Should have knows it was all going so smooth. I do love the cabinets and the floor, so it should come together nice as long as we get the corner fixed.

  8. Wow, it's coming along so nicely! The colors are so rich! We had our share of issues too. A "monster" faucet that was too tall, rotten subfloor, yadda yadda. Like Roseanna Roseanna Danna said, "It's always sumthin". Poker sounds great!

  12. You could go pro with that paint finish. Of course, when my sister in law tells me that I could go "pro", she means a totally different thing.

    Looks great.

Unbelievable. If you do buy something, use me as a referral source. They give $25.00 off your purchase f or referring people. But honestly I wouldn't do it unless I was blown away. A $400 fan for 1/2 price!
